Operations Manager
Lindsay Nettles
Lindsay Nettles was born in Louisiana but considers Las Vegas, Nevada, her hometown, where she was raised. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Nevada, Reno.
About me
After graduating, Lindsay moved to Houston, Texas, and obtained her Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) license from Lone Star College – Tomball.
Outside of work, Lindsay enjoys spending Sunday mornings with her family, often planning outings or activities with her kids. If she were trapped on a desert island, chips, salsa, and queso would be her meal of choice. The most inspiring part of her job is witnessing teams come together in emergencies to save lives, an experience that continually fuels her passion for veterinary medicine.
Background & Experience
With 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine, Lindsay has developed a wealth of knowledge and expertise. She began her career as a technician, progressing to Lead Technician, Practice Manager, and eventually District Manager. One of her notable achievements was managing the new build and opening of a practice.
Lindsay joined NVC in 2024, and though she has been with the organization for a short time, she is excited about the opportunity to utilize her experience in practice management and be part of a positive and creative team.
Her inspiration to enter veterinary medicine came from reading “All Creatures Big and Small” in the fifth grade, a moment that solidified her desire to work with animals. Lindsay’s favorite part of her field is the dynamic nature of the work, where every day brings new challenges and learning opportunities. She thrives on the belief that “impossible” is not a word in veterinary medicine and finds fulfillment in continuous growth and learning.
Lindsay’s areas of expertise include emergency care and training others. She is passionate about Fear Free Medicine and strives to create a compassionate and stress-free environment for pets. Her personal motto, “Assume best intentions,” reflects her positive outlook and approach to life and work.
