Veterinarian
Dr. Kelsey Wright
Dr. Kelsey Wright grew up in New Jersey until she was 18, then moved to Texas. She has always had a love for veterinary medicine.
About me
“Being a veterinarian has been my dream ever since I was as young as 3 or 4 years old. At that age it was either being a Vet or becoming a rock artist (aka paint rocks for a living). Fortunately, my desire to become a vet has never wavered.”
Background & Experience
Dr. Wright says the most inspiring part of her job is, “I love teaching! It really means a lot to me for clients to understand exactly why a treatment plan was created to help their individual pet.” Kelsey loves all aspects of the veterinary field, but she has a strong interest in ultrasound for its non-invasive ability to provide an abundance of insight for her patients. She has a Bachelors of Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Wright does not give up when things are tough and is not afraid to try something new!
When not at NVC, Dr. Wright enjoys horseback riding, country-western dancing, singing, skiing, sketching/painting, and a nice hot breakfast! She can also be found hanging out with her husband, kiddos and Great Dane.
