Veterinarian
Dr. Sara Bercier
Dr. Sara Bercier is from Lake Charles, Louisiana. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 2013. Dr. Bercier found her love for Veterinary Medicine at a very young age. “I was one of those kids who always wanted to work with animals, so becoming a veterinarian was an easy career choice. I studied hard and focused on getting as much experience in the field and with animals as I could before applying to LSU for vet school in 2009.”
About me
Dr. Bercier says her favorite part of working in this field is, “I love helping animals and their families to grow in health and well-being. Knowledge is the key to success, and having everyone on the same page in a treatment plan helps the team of owner, veterinarian, and pet succeed.” Dr. Bercier is a general practitioner and loves being able to perform whatever tasks are necessary to help her patients. The most inspiring thing about her job is “Helping people become passionate about the health and well-being of the animals in our world.”
Background & Experience
When not working at NVC, Dr. Bercier might be writing, painting, sculpting, playing the piano, and singing. Her motto is “Just keep swimming.”
