Dr. Erica Johnson
Dr. Erica Johnson grew up in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She received her DVM from Tuskegee University and her MBA from the University of Houston. Dr. Johnson has always dreamed of being a veterinarian. “Since I declared wanting to be a vet at age 5, I’ve never wavered in pursuing my dream of helping animals.” Dr. J’s favorite part about working in animal health, “The variety! I can see a 200lb dog, 5-pound puppy, overweight rabbit, and geriatric kitty, all in the first hour of my day. Never a dull moment!”
About me
Dr. Johnson loves surgery, she has developed advanced skills in soft tissue surgery and pain management. She is a lifelong learner and is constantly keeping up with advances in veterinary medicine. Dr. Johnson believes in practicing with compassion and empathy and tries to make sure every client leaves her knowing she did the best for them.
Background & Experience
When not working on your fur-babies, Dr. Johnson is busy spending time with her family, competing in her amateur 9 ball league and cooking. Her life motto is “Never give anyone the power to steal your joy.”
