Home Away From Home

Comfort, safety, and luxury for dogs and cats.

While there’s no place like home, Neighborhood Veterinary Centers is the next best thing.

When your dog or cat needs a place to stay—for the day, the week, or an extended getaway—we offer boarding services that will satisfy the pickiest pooch and the most refined feline. Our boarding accommodations are designed to provide your pet with a safe, stress-free, comfortable stay.

Our Amenities

When you select Neighborhood Veterinary Centers to board your pet, your four-legged friend will appreciate special features, including:

  • Cozy cat condos with comfortable bedding
  • Special indoor runs to accommodate large dogs
  • Calm music to reduce ambient noise and promote relaxation
  • Securely enclosed outdoor play areas
  • Individualized play and socialization sessions with our pet-loving caretakers
  • Multiple snack times!

Why choose veterinary-supervised boarding?

Unlike other pet care facilities, Neighborhood Veterinary Centers provides veterinarian-supervised boarding. Each pet caretaker is trained to observe our pet guests closely and to recognize and report concerning behavior or clinical signs, which ensures that your pet receives prompt medical attention in our veterinary hospital when needed. Additionally, we can provide skilled care for special-needs pets, including:

  • Recovering orthopedic surgery patients
  • Chronic illness pets
  • Diabetic pets
  • Mobility-impaired pets, such as pets, including seniors, suffering from arthritis, muscle atrophy, or paralysis
  • Pets requiring daily rehabilitation, hygiene care, subcutaneous fluids, or injectable medication

We can also take care of your pet’s routine veterinary care— wellness exam, vaccines, bath, nail trim—during their stay. Simply request the desired services when you check in.

What to bring for your pet’s stay

Our well-appointed boarding services simplify packing for your pet. To ensure your furry friend’s favorite things don’t become damaged or lost, we recommend leaving special toys and beds at home—but don’t worry, they’ll have plenty of options here! Instead, please bring the following items:

Food

If your pet is on a veterinary diet or has a sensitive stomach, bring enough food for your pet’s stay, along with detailed feeding instructions.

Medications and Supplements

Bring these items in their original packaging so that our team can read the labeled dosing instructions. Please request any refills you need prior to drop-off, to ensure we have the item in stock.

Care Instructions

Let us know if your pet has specific care requirements. Although we’ll ask at check-in, written instructions are always appreciated, to ensure your pet’s regular care routine remains consistent throughout their stay.

Health Requirements

To ensure the safety of other pet guests as well as our human care team, all boarding pets must be up-to-date on their annual exam, appropriate vaccines, and parasite preventives.
